"B" is for barn!!! ABC Wednesday for July 29, 2009

HAhahahah! This was an easy post! "B" is for barn! This beautiful, old, red barn was outside of Mariposa, CA, up by Yosemite National Park. The cows must have been hungry! They realized that humans brought food and were all lined up by the gate! They came in from the pasture, looking for their breakfast! Poor things! Nobody showed up to feed them while we were there and they finally went back out to chew on the grasses. ABC Wednesday for July 29, 2009.

Merced barn and mail boxes~Scenic Sunday for June 21, 2009

Hubby and I just got back from a short vacation up in Northern California. We visited Yosemite National Park, South Lake Tahoe, and Mt. Whitney. Of course, along the way, I took as many barn photos as I could! There were some wonderful barns in Gardnerville, NV, and I'll be posting pics of them soon. But this one was the first one we saw outside of Merced, CA, where we stayed overnight and traveled to Yosemite. Scenic Sunday for June 21, 2009.

Red barn and ranch gate~

When we drove past Merced to Mariposa, on our way to Yosemite National Park, during our vacation, we drove past this ranch. Finally, one day we stopped. The cows must have been hungry because they came right up to us at the gate and mooed at us for their breakfast! The barn was deserted, the gate was locked, and the cows were hungry. They were beautiful cows and appeared to equate people with food, so I hope they got fed!
