My quest to find barns in the great desert southwest! This is the barn of my childhood. My dad put the roof on it! It is a magnificent barn, still standing in Vista, CA!

Barn near Merced~SkyWatch Friday, July 24, 2009
Hubby and I got up early one morning and I took these photos before we got to Yosemite National Park. There were some beautiful barns outside of Merced, CA, on the road to Yosemite. SkyWatch Friday for July 24, 2009.
Amazing. I really like these two photographs. I like the wide open spaces around them.

I have been visiting all your blogs and admiring not only the pictures but also the various beautiful blog designs that you use. This post is enhanced by the old boards, bit of rope and the screw heads. Do you design them all yourself?

I've loved horses all my life but didn't get my first one until our kids left us with an empty nest! Now hubby and I have 4 horses, 1 dog, 3 cats, and 4 adorable grandchildren. Oh, and two wonderful, grown children! Hubby and I enjoy taking care of our rescue horses and traveling and taking photos.
I love old barns!
