Medford, OR barn~Scenic Sunday, Sunday Stills Challenge 080110

Hubby and I saw this scenic barn and graffiti when we pulled off near Medford, OR to take photos of another barn. We hadn't seen this one from the highway, but saw it as we were leaving the side road. I can't even imagine how long or how dangerous it was to do this! Scenic Sunday and Sunday Stills Challenge for 080110.

  1. These are neat to see. I don't think we have them up our way.

  2. Very nice choice, we have a barn near us with a big American Flag on it too. I think I've used it before for something else.

  3. very nice! I love barns! They are one of the best and most beautiful buildings to me. I agree with you...that looks like a long and dangerous job painting that barn roof.

  5. What a cool looking barn roof with the flag on it! I love looking at old barns too, so different from place to place. The barn on our ranch served as a place to live for both people and animals the first winter the original owners homesteaded it. The family lived up in the haymow and the animals down below.

  7. Just found your site~ fun to look at... I recently lived in Ashland (right next to Medford), but am from San Diego & frequented Yosemite & the high Sierra... lovely to see the mountains in your photos! I'm also fond of old barns & houses... there's a story behind each of them, even though we may not know what it is!
