This dead tree was at the red ranch in my previous post. The ranch is now empty and deserted, the trees are all dead, and I'm sure it is scheduled for demolition in the future. What a sad story. Skywatch Friday for April 10, 2009.

Very nice picture. It is sad to see the ranch deserted and dying. Good idea to photodocument it while you still can.

ReplyDeleteToo bad it will be destroyed! I grew up in the Midwest and there were always lovely barns around; all my cousins grew up on farms and I treasure the memories of barns and animals. I am sad to see so much of our land being destroyed for malls, etc. This is a neat blog. It is great that you rescue horses, too.
