Barn eyes~~Sunday Stills for May 17, 2009


If a barn could have eyes, these would be them! These "eyes" look out over the ranch and see everything! See! They are even open today! This is the barn from my childhood, in Vista, CA. The barn is still standing. It is a magnificent old, wooden barn, except for the aluminum roof that my dad put on it in the 1960's. The roof is still intact, as is the barn. No other barn I have found measures up to this one. It is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It is now owned by some wonderful people at Quail Hollow Farm. Sunday Stills for May 17, 2009.

    Yes, this is a great find...what a scenic combination of colors, trees, fences, and that majestic barn. How cool that you were able to walk around and check it out. I'm sure it brought back memories! Hopefully it will have a long life!
